Grow the greatest weight of potatoes in your tub & be crowned "Champion Grower"
£5 entry per tub
(proceeds to raise funds for the Flower Show)
** You get a numbered tub, a potato and 4 months to grow the best crop you can **
Collect your tub and tattie on the village green on Saturday 15th March 9am -12noon
(Instructions and rules when you collect your tub and also see below)
Judging on the Village Green on Saturday 2nd August

Instructions & Rules

Pay your entry fee, collect your tub and your tattie on Saturday 16th March at Gifford Village Green

Use the potato & the tub provided to grow your crop, choosing any growing medium you like. You have over 4 months of growing time.

Bring your tub back to the village green for judging on the Saturday 2nd August. Your potatoes must still be growing in your tub!

The tub will be emptied and the tatties bagged and weighed

Take your tatties home for tea
