Gardens Open in Gifford - Sunday 8th July
Every 2 years Gifford Horticultural Society organises a number of open gardens as part of the 'Scotland's Gardens Scheme'.
This time, on Sunday 8th July, there will be 7 village gardens of various sizes and design extending from wildlife friendly to formal and, on the western boundary, Broadwoodside - described as one of Scotland's most exciting contemporary gardens.
For a £6 per adult ticket purchased at the Village Hall all gardens can be visited between 1pm-5pm. A map and description of the gardens will be provided. The 'Teapot Trust', a charity that promotes art as a therapy for critically ill children, will be serving teas in the Hall throughout the afternoon.
In addition Macplants will have a stall in the Village Square and in the Hall there will be stalls selling lavender products, botanical cards and Teapot Trust merchandise.
