Winter Talks Programme
The Year Ahead
With little sign of restrictions being lifted in the near future, we may be unable to hold any meetings in the Village Hall ov
er the next few months. We have therefore had to adapt and add to our planned programme of talks.
Our speakers have all agreed to conduct their presentations online via Zoom. This is far from ideal, with no opportunity for social interaction and no access to the first-class catering. However, under the circumstances, it is the best we can do.
Instructions and guidance will be sent out prior to each talk, and we hope that even those with limited IT experience will manage to enjoy the presentations.
Under the current restrictions, the AGM will take place via Zoom. The gardening quiz which was planned to take place on the same evening will now take place separately during the following week.
The programme for the year now looks like this:
Wednesday 14 October at 7.30pm
NTS Gardens of the West of Scotland, Simon Jones
Wednesday 11 November at 7.30pm
Annual General Meeting
Wednesday 18 November at 7.30pm
Gardening Quiz
Wednesday 13 January at 2.30pm
Tree Planting and Climate Change, Pat Snowdon
Wednesday 10 February at 7.30pm
Spring Bulbs, Stan da Prato & Beryl McNaughton
Wednesday 10 March at 7.30pm
Colin Wren, NTS Gardens of East Lothian & the Borders
